The outside is painted in vivid Arita Japanese paints “Hana-aka (flower red)” and the inside has a grass pattern. 260 years old Gen-emon kiln has inherited the handcraftsmanship and spirit of “Ko-Imari”. The entire process of making the pieces is done by hand with the skillful techniques of expert potters. The tableware is both magnificent and beautiful, and its thick construction makes it durable.
